Bob Hope is the Master of Ceremonies today, and opens the show with many of his famous wisecracks - he really does know how to warm up the audience! He then introduces the wonderful Judy Garland, who sings 'The Dixieland Band'. Judy has a hilarious conversation with Bob Hope after the song, about the merits of Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. Bob is trying his usual 'charms' on Judy, but it's not working (does it ever!)
