The bell of Mrs. Moran's door rings. She answers it. It's a blackmailer called Matt Grayson. He wants another instalment, but this time Betty Moran refuses to hand over the money and instead shoots the gangster dead before putting the gun to her own head and committing suicide. Mr. Moran wants to get justice for his dead wife and so pays a visit to the offices of Richard Diamond.
