It was four in the morning and Erv was had just finished his beat and was heading home when he spotted a kid sitting on the curb. The kid was full of attitude and wouldn’t say where he lived. Erv did a deal with him that if he stayed with him tonight he had to go home tomorrow or he put him in the children’s care home. The kid agreed but then was shocked to find out Erv was a cop.
