Every year Monica Dean and her family have vacationed on the Greek Island and have traveled there on the little time worn ferry called the Sara Belle. Mike has captained the ferry and every year has looked forward to seeing ‘Niccy. Now that Mike has got his Engineering degree ‘Niccy is looking forward to them getting married and spending their life together. However Mike took his degree in philosophy and Monica thinks he has thrown away their chance to become independent and have money. It takes her gran to make her realise there is more to life than money.
