Climaxing a vigorous campaign the all women’s ticket was elected by a big majority in the city election held in Pine Ridge. The women of the town had become dissatisfied with the city officials and decided to take matters in to their own hands. The result is that Pine Ridge is unique in having a woman Mayor, a woman Chief of Police in fact the civic government is completely controlled by the women of the town.
