Every afternoon at 5:45 a boy on a bicycle rides down the street with no hands and throws a folded newspaper on to Gildersleeve’s front lawn. By 5:46 Leroy is usually to be found flat on his stomach in the living room deep in the doings of Dick Tracy but on this particular afternoon he is more interested in the news of an apprehended murderer and bank robber.
