It happened the morning after she became engaged to Harold. She got to the bank a little early that morning hoping she’d be able to see him for a minute before they opened for business and sure enough Harold was just hanging up his hat and coat when she came in the door. You see she’s one of the junior tellers at the main branch in town, or rather she was and Harold is assistant manager.
