Marshal Matt Dillon gets shot in the shoulder by a simple cowboy named Oggie who wants to finish him off so that he can take his badge and feel important. However his brother Rack decides they’ll keep the marshal alive as he thinks he will be useful to them in their escape over the border after they held up a bank.
