Judy Foster is a typical american girl in a typical American family. It is a quiet evening in the Foster house. Mother is sewing, Father is reading, Randolph is tying boy scout knots and Judy is blunting because  she doesn't have a date. Judy hasn't had a date for three nights so doesn't think she's in a position to find Aunt Lilly a date. The family invite Aunt Lilly to stay and then try to fix her up with Mr Manchester the man who works at the library.
