A rider goes out to investigate smoke coming from the distant hills. When he returns he tells how the smoke is coming from a homestead where an innocent family has been murdered by the Sioux Indians. Only one person was left alive, but they can't talk because they've had their tongue cut out. Something must be done to stop Chief Yellow Knive before the situation gets completely out of hand.
