Around The World In Eighty Days was one of the first Mercury Theater shows originally broadcasting in 1938 well before Cole Porter put the story to music and it appeared on Broadway. This special revival broadcast is a lively musical portion of the show that was also at the time playing at the Aldephi Theater on Broadway.
