Everyone knows that the Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria Hungary and his consort, the Princess Sophie, were assassinated in Sarajevo at June 28, 1914, and that's why World War I began. However, there is a considerable body of opinion which insists that this royal pair was not assassinated, but executed - deliberately sent to their deaths by some of the highest officials of their own government. And why? Perhaps we might listen to a close friend of the Archduke, a man of unquestioned integrity, who is not only the Archduke's confidant but also his personal physician, Doctor Viktor Eisenmenger...
