Jim Plamer currently on leave from the army and is after an apartment in the new Bryant building which is currently under construction. He pays a $300 deposit but contacts Boston Blackie when he becomes rightly suspicious. It seems that the sales guys are planning to sell 100 apartments to 1000 people and run off with $100,000 worth of deposits leaving Bryants to sort it out.
