Cherry Wheeler is concerned for her brother Chick as he started wearing a gun two weeks after seeing Ruby Rose who she believes is mixed up with gangsters. Cherry goes round to see her and warns her to stay away from her brother but her brother tells his sister to stay out of his business. Later a lieutenant who calls Miss Wheeler Angel Face calls to her house and tells her that her brother has killed Ruby Rose. Cherry refuses to believe it even though the lieutenant says it is clear-cut case and she resolves to prove her brother innocent.
