Wealthy Richard Alistair gets out of a cab at a vacant city lot and seconds later disappears. Later strangled to death Alistair is found on the front steps of the building adjoining the vacant lot. Boston Blackie and Inspector Faraday find however that Alistair walked only a few steps in to the lot where he stopped…
