Tim Baker has worked for Mr Waterbury as a bookkeeper for 22 years and hates him more each day. When Waterbury discovers that his son who is training to be a doctor is dating Baker’s son he tells Baker that his son cannot go out with his daughter, the daughter of a mere bookkeeper. Baker hates him even more and when he discovers $50,000 in a black box in Waterbury’s office he plans to steal it and to kill Waterbury by replacing the adrenaline in his needle which he needs when he has an asthma attack with poison.
