This is the story of the life of Abraham Lincoln. It begins with Abraham Lincoln filling us in on his family background and early life. It continues with Lincoln becoming President and leading America in to civil war in his effort to preserve the union and abolish slavery. If concludes with the assassination of Abraham Lincoln on Good Friday, 15th April 1865.

Others in the cast: Ed Jerome, George Coulouris, Joseph Holland, Carl Frank, Karl Swenson and Agnes Moorehead as Mrs Lincoln.

There are many radio stories of episodes of Abraham Lincolns life but this is probably the most comprehensive otr play covering the whole of his life.
