Hosted by Don Dowd, and starring Laurence Olivier, the ABC Mystery Time was also known as 'Mystery Time Classics' and 'Masters of Mystery'. Unfortunately, of the 17 episodes produced, not many from this wonderful series have survived, which is a great shame considering the pedigree of the stars involved in its production.

However, those that have survived are the same bone chilling mysteries that we have come to expect from old time radio, with the obligatory creepy, mysterious organ music to accompany.
