Peacefully grazing cattle in Clearwater Canyon were suddenly startled from their calm by a horseman who rode among them. While his mount reared and pranced, he shouted at the top of his voice, and his six gun echoed from the canyon walls! The alarmed animals first began to press together and nervously circle and then finally as panic swept through their ranks, they lunged and brought about a mad stampede.
