Paul Lewis' 'crazy' dog, Brownie, has bitten his neighbour, Mrs Strickland's nephew, in an entirely provoked attack by the little terror who had been poking sticks through the fence, tormenting him. Mrs Strickland is determined to seek compensation from Mr Lewis, but the usually meek man isn't going to concede without a fight.
