On the trail from Painted Bend headed west toward the Sawtooth range, the Lone Ranger and Tonto were galloping along, when they suddenly saw a giant tree ahead of them crack and start swaying, just as a solitary rider and his horse stumbled beneath the tree. It was a race with time to get to the man and rescue him from certain death!
