Tim had waited fifty years to tell this story that happened in 1929 after he had just graduated. In need of money he pandered to his spirit of adventure and joined a Swedish whaler with a crew of six men. While taking a detour to catch seals Tim discovers a ship that had been trapped in the arctic ice flow for a thousand years, the vikings on board dead and preserved in ice were Indians, American Indians not Eskimo's. If Tim and his fellow adventurers could have preserved that ship before it slipped away and sunk in to the depths of the icy sea, or at least taken photographs it would prove that it was the vikings that discovered America and not Columbus. But who would care, who would take any notice...
