Irene Caygill had been separated from her husband for over a month but she was convinced that he wanted to kill her. Now she was prepared to pay private detective Brad Runyon aka The Fat Man five hundred dollars for starters to protect her.  As they were discussing her troubles a young photographer employed by Mr Caygill came over and took a photograph of Runyon and Caygill. She knew her husband was going to use that picture against her to cut her off without a penny. Somehow The Fat Man knew this case was going to be more trouble than it was worth, especially when he recovers the photo of them and notices a stiff in the background with a knife in his neck...
