As Doc Adams is preparing to leave Cedarton and take his new position in New York, the show begins with the Doc showing the new Family Doctor, Grayson, around the surgery. With it's joys, heartaches, tears and laughter, Cedarton is a place with many characters, so it's probably best that the Doc explains those first, who's the town gossip, who's the best person to talk to when there's a problem, who's the most stubburn and so on. The Doc is sure going to miss everyone.
