This case began at cocktail time at a club over on the East side. The music was good, the drinks were good, the lights were nice and dim so Brad Runyon didn't stand out like a sore thumb like he usually does when he's out with a beautiful girl like Cathy. A redhead at table number three get the cigarette seller to drop a note off with Runyon. She's clearly a lady in distress. Her name is Julie Warwick, Mrs Richard Warwick. She thinks that someone is trying to kill her husband but she can't be certain.
