In 1937 Waldo Emerson Farnsworth was arrested for fraud and sentenced to fifteen years in jail. Farnsworth was released after eleven years for good behavior. Now some fourteen years later, eighteen months after his release, Henry Simon's missing persons bureau was approached by a film company who wanted to track him down and get his permission to make a film about him.
