Henry Simon from the missing persons bureau is called upon to find Steven Bartlett by his wife, Ruth as he has been missing for three weeks. She has not been concerned until now as because of his condition, incest syndrome, which is explained by his doctor, Dr Frobisher, he has often gone missing before but always comes back to her. This is the longest time he has been missing.
