It is 1952 and 10 years ago Ronald Marsdon was pronounced dead having failed to bail out from his bombed aircraft. However his father in London on a business trip is certain that he saw his son leaving a tube station. He has waited by the same tube every day for the last week in the hope that he might see him again. Convinced that his son his still alive as no one actually saw whether he had ejected from his burning plane or not Phlip Marsdon elicits the help of Henry Simon's Missing Persons Bureau to find his son.
