Six years ago Arnie Lessick had been finally caught and convicted for one of his numerous crimes. Among the witnesses wasa girl wwho had given the final testimony which sent Lessick to the penn. As he passed the girl he lent over and muttered ne singlt ominous sentence, "baby, I'm gonna get you if its the last thing I do". Now six years later Lessick was out of prison and Ruth Perry feared that Arnie Lessick was going to carry out his threat.She goes to private detective Steve Grainger and employs him to follow Lessick.
