In the wild days of the early west, the gunsmith was an important man in every town. Our story opens in the gunsmith shop of old Cal Witherspoon in the quiet little town of Lone Oak. Cal is tinkering with a strange, bulky looking revolver, while his assistant Radley James is fixing up the sheriff's rifle. Taking a test shot at a target, old Cal has no idea of the evil, twisted thoughts going through his employee's mind.
