Professor Tweedy is the bassoon playing Dean of Men at Potts College, and the scene opens with the Tweedy Chamber Music Society rehearsing, along with his Olde English Sheepdog Baldy joining in with some singing... There's going to be a presentation of trophies today, after the big basketball game - and Potts College have acquired a new player called Dribble. He's a pretty lofty character!
