Woodrow Wilson was the twenty-eighth President of the United States of America and was in the White House from 1913 – 1921. The events in this story took place when Wilson, an advocate of world peace, tried to keep the United States neutral during World War I but ultimately called on Congress to declare war on Germany in 1917.
