The Results of the Quiz are in

Wow! Since the old time radio quiz went live seven hundred people have completed it.

I'm amazed how clever everyone is. Considering that the golden age of radio was over fifty years ago there are LOTS of people around who still know all sorts of weird and wonderful facts.

The average mark from the 682 people who have taken it was a very respectable 57%, so if you scored there, or there abouts, you can certainly give yourself a pat on the back.

The average time taken to do the test was six minutes and forty seconds.

Amazingly, twenty-four people scored a remarkable 100% and one of them did so in just 56 seconds, which is less than 3 seconds per questions. Unbelievable!

The question that most people got right was What was Abbott & Costello's signature routine called? Over 98% got that one right. This was followed by the 95% who knew the name of the detective played by Jack Webb in Dragnet.

The question that most people got wrong was the one about how many radio sets were said to be in use in the March 1922 issue of Variety. The correct answer was one million, but only 15% of people got that right.

I do hope you all enjoyed the quiz. I was thinking of putting some more quizzes together. It would help me greatly if you could answer the current poll (you'll see it on the right) to let me know whether you'd like to see more quizzes.

And if you've not yet done the current quiz here is the link:
