Some people may have encountered a few problems downloading and streaming over the last couple of days so I thought I'd post a quick message just to let you know what the cause was.

Recently I installed a Microsoft update on the main server and it didn't install properly. This caused some problems with Windows media audio. Yesterday and today I've been reinstalling various things to correct the problem and that's what will have caused a few outages as I had to take the server off-line for a short while. Hopefully, everything should be fine again now.

Thanks for your patience. It would have been easy for you all to have sent in ranting e-mails, but you guys (and gals of course) are the nicest bunch of people in the world, which is something I'm eternally grateful for.

Just so you know, I might have to take the server off-line very briefly on Tuesday to finish the work off, but I'll try and schedule it for a quiet time such as in the middle of the night so it doesn't bother anyone.
