Peg On The Beeb

I sent a message round to everyone on the RUSC mailing list earlier in the week about the Peg Lynch documentary that was to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

I know quite a few UK members managed to listen to it as it was broadcast, but for those who missed it here is a link to listen to it again:

I've always been a huge fan of both Peg's acting and writing and so I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the documentary. The only problem for me was that at 30 minutes it was about two hours too short. I could listen to Peg tell old radio anecdotes all day.

After listening to the documentary I'm sure you'll be keen to enjoy one of Peg's classic shows so on today's list you'll find one of my favorite Couple Next Door episodes. It's the one where there's some uncertainty as to whether the garage door is open or shut. If you've heard it before I'm sure you'll know the one I mean - it's sure to put a smile on your face.
