Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

For all our friends of RUSC, it has become a festive tradition of Joy and I to compile a Christmas Crossword, and this year is no different. You can play for fun, or race against the clock solving the crossword using the clues provided.

I have produced it in two formats; as an interactive online puzzle which you can complete using the link below, or as a .PDF file, if you'd prefer to download and print it out to complete at your leisure - whilst it's printing, you'll have just enough time to pour a seasonal aperitif before you put your feet up and puzzle your way through the clues.

Click on the link below and you'll be whisked off to the RUSC puzzle page:-

Next up, I couldn't resist letting you know about this Christmas broadcast from 25th December 1945. If anything is going to give you a warm-hearted feeling of Christmas cheer then this is it.

When the show opens, Bob Hope is planning his annual Christmas party and you can join him! You'll be in good company, as also there to entertain you is Bing Crosby, Dinah Shore, Jimmy Durante, Ginny SImms and many more. It really is a party you won't want to miss!

There's even a message from President Harry S. Truman on the first Christmas of peace in a long time. Following that the whole cast sing Christmas carols.

This is a two hour episode in two parts, so be sure to listen to them both. I just didn't want it to end!

Joy and I will be spending the next few days with friends and family, but I'll make sure to sneak away when I get the chance and put some more shows up for your enjoyment so be sure to stop by.

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas!

Ned Norris
