If you are still lucky (or young) enough to have your father around or if in deed you are a father don't forget it's a special day for fathers on Sunday 17th June. Joy and I are putting together a collection of your favorite shows to listen to over the weekend including a Baseball Broadcast leading up to the opening of the 1949 Fort Worth Baseball Season and a Cavalcade of America story entitled Children This Is Your Father about a veteran’s reunion with his wife and family after four years overseas separation.
If you haven't thought of a present to give your father yet then why not give him a RUSC gift subscription of good clean entertainment from the golden age of radio. It's not too late and it beats a pair of socks or a tie!
Meantime here are some appropriate shows for your enjoyment. You could even put some on to a CD and pop them in your father's card.
