Happy Birthday Abraham Lincoln - 12th February 1809 - 15th April 1865

On 15th of April 1865 Abraham Lincoln, one of America’s greatest presidents, died - claimed by the bullet of the actor John Wilkes Booth.

Many historians feel that if Lincoln had lived our history and world history would have been profoundly changed for the better. With this in mind Suspense produced a strange and unusual drama entitled The Man Who Went Back To Save Lincoln. It starred Court Benson as Tom and Ian Martin as the professor and it was written by Robert Otter. It was originally broadcast on 11th of April 1962, but in memory of the 16th President of the United States birthday anniversary you can enjoy it again today.

Happy listening my friends,
