It's time for half an hour of mirth and melody with Fred Allen and Portland Hoffa. On Allen's Alley, the question is "Are you raising chickens, and if so, how are you doing?" Fred asks Frank Sinatra to sing his new song Chile (which apparently sounds similar to Brazil!), but Frank sings She's Funny That Way instead. This prompts Fred to launch into a story about how he became the first jitterbug.
