A Little Thank You

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been using the commenting feature on RUSC.

There have been some terrific comments recently, and it appears that the commenting and review feature is now being used more frequently, so thank you everyone!

For anyone who had been wondering where those comments were coming from (just over there to the right...) here's a little explanation.

On the RUSC website, you can add comments and ratings to shows, series and stars. For our little RUSC family, these comments and reviews from fellow enthusiasts can sometimes take the listener in a whole new direction, rather than listening to the same 'type' of show. 

I know that in my own case, if anyone had said to me that I'd enjoy the historical series such as Cavalcade of America, Destination Freedom and Inheritance a few years ago, I'd have laughed my socks off... But they were recommended to me by a member, and I've never looked back!

In a nutshell the commenting feature lets you add your own review or rating to pretty much anything and everything. It could be a comment about a show, one of the stars, a series... Hopefully, this will give everyone a chance to share their thoughts on shows they listen to or series they like and want to recommend to other members.

Posting a comment is really easy. All you need to do is click on the 'Add rating / comment' link (I've put a red circle around it on the picture to the right) and a little box will pop up. Then you just need to select the star-rating and add your comment. 

You can see the latest comments that have been posted by other members, in the box on the right-hand side of most pages on the site.

The more comments and ratings people post the better and more useful this will get so, please get clicking on those 'Add rating / comment' links whenever you see them and let everyone know what you think of the shows, series, stars and whatever else.

I hope that seeing all of the recent comments has given you the encouragement to post a little comment or rating yourself. Please, don't be shy! Myself, Joy, and many, many friends of RUSC love to read other people's thoughts on a show, especially if it's a recommendation for something that you've enjoyed listening to.
