A Brand-New Sports Radio Station!

On Sunday 1st February it is Super Bowl 2015. Will you be supporting the New England Patriots, or the Seattle Seahawks?

At the time of writing this editorial, I can see from the RUSC home page poll, that our members are, so far, divided in who they will be rooting for. As it stands, the Seattle Seahawks have been the frontrunners all week, but there's some late support coming in for the New England Patriots... (To include your vote, just click on the poll to the right of this article.)

Vince Lombardi, widely recognised as the greatest football coach in history, who led the Green Bay Packers to victory in Super Bowls I and II, once said "If you’re lucky enough to find a guy with a lot of head and a lot of heart, he’s never going to come off the field second." and this years Super Bowl is no exception!

It looks set to be a real nail biter, with some records being broken right from the kickoff. Bill Belichick will coach his sixth Super Bowl, while Pete Carroll has reached the game for a second time, setting a record with eight combined appearances between head coaches - and not forgetting Tom Brady, who will become the first quarterback to have played in six Super Bowls, cementing the most successful quarterback-coach tandems in NFL history with Bill Belichick.
