George Valentine is not surprised to find a hard-bitten operator like Douglas Harger mixed up in a loan shark racket that has victimised his client. Valentine is not surprised when he runs in to assorted forms of mayhem but what does rock him back on his heels is that the beautiful and wealthy Mrs Lesley Remson is apparently the banker and kingpin.
