Young Mr Lincoln is the story of the early life of Abraham Lincoln before going in to politics and as best original story of the year was nominated for the 1939 academy award. Henry Fonda as best actor of the year was nominated for the 1940 academy award and here plays the leading part that he originally played in the film.
