It's 1940, and Tim Baker, a young American pilot, has learned he can make $1000 a flight, ferrying Bombers to England. It's all strictly business of course. Except that a year earlier, a lady named Carol broke his heart when he returned from a mission and found that she was gone, to start a new life in England, and never wanted to see him again. Tim is convinced that he can win her back, but she's far from impressed to see him when he arrives at the Regency House where she works!
