Steve Yokum from Montana contacts Johnny Dollar for help. His company have John Turner Widdicomb insured for $500,000. Widdicomb had made a lot of money in lumber in real snow country in a town called Yaak. When his wife died he retired. Last week Widdicomb and his good looking only child Valerie and her husband took off for a vacation in the rugged country east of Yaak for a little hunting out of Shorty Bessam’s camp. As the weather eased up they took off for a spot of hunting against the protests of Shorty and when they hadn’t returned by the next day Shorty raised the alarm.
