Things look dark in deed for the old fellows. Lum caught Abner and Cedric in the feed room the other night printing money on the Diogenes Smith’s printing press. He convinced them that they were not turning out $10 bills by virtue of some magic power but were actually making counterfeit money. After he’d sent Abner home to destroy the money he’d hidden there the stranger Mr Adams appeared and arrested Lum as the head of a big counterfeit ring.
