When J. B. Kendall received his paycheck he went to a tailors shop to purchase a new suit. There he met Dick Jackson the 17-year-old son of Tailor Eli Jackson. Dick was a good boy who was a hot shot with his guns that his uncle Amos had given him. When Dicks Father was shot and maimed Dick went to kill the gunman but he learns that shooting a man is different from shooting at a target.
