Red Suthers steals $48 from Buffalo Mary and threatens her that if she tells then he will come back and harm her. Later Matt and Chester find Red Suthers drunk and mouthing off in the saloon and arrest him. He has spent most of Mary’s savings, which took her two years of hard work to save on alcohol. Mary tells Matt that putting him in jail isn’t going to help here none. Matt decides on another way that Suthers can pay his debt to Mary and society.
