Earlier this week the newspaper carried an item stating that a widow in Texas would like to correspond with some kindly middle-aged man who could handle a large estate with the object of matrimony. Lum has sent off a letter and his picture in reply and is now up in the clouds at the prospect of marrying in to a large estate.
