It’s a hot summer afternoon and the great Gildersleeve is heading home and decides to drop in to Floyds’s barber shop to cool off and avoid being ambushed by a gang of boys firing beans. Gildy thinks that Leroy’s involved with those boys and intends to discipline him when he gets home.
